Character: Asuka Langley Soryu –Bunny Variant

Construction Notes:
This costume was created on a simple whim. I had always wanted to recreate a bunny design, but was always too self-conscience to attempt such a feat. One thing I loved about this design was the vest and how it created a demure layer to something sexy.
I was lucky to find a bunny suit that matched the figure design. I made the vest by modifying a Simplicity design by dropping the neckline and adding the tails to the back. As usual the biggest obstacle I had to overcome was tailoring the vest to fit my body frame correctly and lining the usual shape.
In the future I want to modify the bodysuit so it fits my frame a bit better and fix the bow on the collar which constantly kept shifting throughout the day.

I love the vest! How tall are you ? Also looking at your reflection. I know its a trick of the eye. but it looks like other you is looking somewhere else. Neat that.
